What would happen if every adult on earth disappeared?
Let's say it's morning Monday. Kids are getting ready to go to school, teens are getting ready for another boring algebraic cl, Adults are driving to work. Above, airplanes fly on auto pilot and many are taking off or landing. Satellites send communication, coal, wind, hydro and nuclear plants are churning out electricity. Tracks are constantly changed to keep trains from colliding, subways move along under the metropolitan jungles. Nuclear waste facilities keep their radioactive contents cool with water so there is no catastrophic meltdown. Then, suddenly, every single person above 17 vanishes. What would happen next?
